I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
